SNEC Lift: the neck lift without visible scars

The SNEC Lift combines high-definition liposuction and Quantum radiofrequency to rejuvenate the neck without visible scarring, without general anesthesia, and with a recovery period of just a few days. Discover this minimally invasive technique developed by Dr. Stroumza in Paris.
SNEC Lift — Neck lift without visible scarring

Neck laxity is one of the first visible signs of skin aging. A split chin, vertical platysma lines, and excess cervical skin: these issues are particularly difficult to conceal and have a significant impact on self-image. For a long time, the only solution consisted of... neck lift classic, with peri-auricular scarring and general anesthesia. The SNEC Lift, developed by the Dr. Nathaniel StroumzaThis radically changes the game.

What is the SNEC Lift?

The SNEC Lift (Submental Neck Elasticity Contouring) is a technique of minimally invasive neck lift which combines two complementary approaches:

  • another high-definition submental liposuctionwhich eliminates excess fat and reshapes the cervico-mental angle,
  • another Quantum radio frequency applied deeply, which tightens the skin and stimulates collagen production over several months.

The intervention is carried out through two to three micro-incisions of a few millimeters, hidden under the chin and behind the earlobes. These entry points, almost invisible once fully healed, are sufficient to introduce the liposuction cannulas and then the radiofrequency fibers.

The procedure is underway under local tumescent anesthesia, on an outpatient basis, and lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours.

The 4 minimally invasive advantages of the SNEC Lift

No visible scar

This is the central argument: unlike a classic neck lift, the SNEC Lift does not leave no periauricular scarThe micro-incisions under the chin and behind the ears disappear within a few weeks and are undetectable in everyday life.

Can be performed under local anesthesia

The absence of general anesthesia avoids the associated risks (nausea, prolonged fatigue, drug interaction) and allows for immediate discharge after the procedure.

Little pain

Limited tissue trauma results in a particularly comfortable recovery. Most patients describe a simple feeling of tightness, controlled by paracetamol.

Quick recovery

Return to work in 4 to 7 days, sports activities in 3-4 weeks. Compare this to the 2 to 3 weeks of downtime required for a traditional neck lift.

How does the intervention take place?

  1. Prior consultation Dr. Stroumza analyzes your morphology (excess fat, skin quality, platysmal bands), checks for contraindications and establishes a personalized surgical plan.
  2. Installation and local anesthesia : after precise marking, a tumescent solution (mixture of serum, local anesthetic and adrenaline) is infiltrated to anesthetize and facilitate liposuction.
  3. High-definition liposuction Excess fat is suctioned out with fine cannulas through micro-incisions under the chin and behind the ears, precisely sculpting the cervico-mental angle.
  4. Quantum Radio Frequency The radiofrequency fiber is inserted into the same access points and treats the deep layer of the skin. The energy delivered causes immediate retraction and stimulates neocollagenesis.
  5. Return home : a compression bandage is put in place for 48 to 72 hours.

Results: What to expect

The results of the SNEC Lift are built in several phases:

  • At once After the procedure: we can already observe skin retraction linked to radiofrequency, masked for a few days by post-operative edema.
  • At 1 months The edema has disappeared. The initial result is clearly visible: redefined oval, marked cervico-mental angle, disappearance of the double chin.
  • Between 3 and 6 months The result continues to improve thanks to the neocollagenesis induced by radiofrequency. The skin gradually firms up.
  • long term : the results hold 8 to 10 year-olds, depending on natural aging and lifestyle.

Convalescence and resumption of activity

The post-operative course is straightforward:

  • D0 to D3 : wearing a compression bandage, moderate edema, sometimes small bruises.
  • D3 to D7 : Removal of the bandage, gradual resumption of social life. Return to work possible from day 5-7 for non-physical activities.
  • S2 to S4 : gradual resumption of sporting activity (to be validated by consultation).
  • M3 : almost final result visible.

SNEC Lift vs classic cervical lift

Here is a summary comparison to help you understand the differences between the two approaches:

  • Scars : invisible micro-incisions for the SNEC Lift vs peri-auricular scar of several centimeters for the classic facelift.
  • Anesthesia : local vs general.
  • Duration of the intervention : 1 to 2 hours vs 3 to 4 hours.
  • Hospitalisation : outpatient vs 1 to 2 nights.
  • Pain : low vs moderate to high in the first few days.
  • Back to work : 4 to 7 days vs 14 to 21 days.
  • Indication : moderate sagging vs significant sagging with major excess skin.

The SNEC Lift is not a universal solution: in cases of very significant sagging or major excess skin, the classic cervical lift remains indicated. Only a consultation can determine the correct indication.

FAQ — SNEC Lift

From what age can one perform a SNEC Lift?

There is no single ideal age. The best results are obtained when the skin still has good elasticity, generally between 35 and 60 years old. Beyond that age, radiofrequency remains effective, but the improvement depends on the remaining skin quality.

Does it hurt?

No. The procedure is performed under tumescent local anesthesia: you will feel nothing during the operation. Afterwards, you may experience a feeling of tightness and sometimes small bruises, which are easily controlled with paracetamol.

How long do the results last?

8 to 10 years on average, depending on natural aging, smoking, sun exposure and genetic factors.

Can a SNEC Lift be rebuilt several years later?

Yes, the technique can be repeated remotely without any particular problem. This is actually one of its advantages compared to a traditional facelift.

What is the price of the SNEC Lift?

Prices are provided during a consultation, depending on the extent of the treatment and the technologies used. See our page. rates for more details, or get in touch for a personalized consultation.
