Thighplasty in Paris — Thigh Lift

Before a cruroplasty

• Consulting: 1 to 2 consultations with the plastic surgeon, +/- 1 consultation with the anesthesiologist
• Tips: Stop smoking at least 3-4 weeks beforehand, stop taking anticoagulants (aspirin or NSAIDs) 10 days before the procedure
• Signature documents (quote, informed consent), and taking pre-operative photographs
• Reflection period: 15 days between the first consultation and the procedure

The intervention of cruroplasty

• Anesthesia: local, local with sedation or general
• Duration of the intervention: Between 1 and 3 hours
• Hospitalization :  Possible on an outpatient basis (same-day discharge) or hospitalization for 1 or 2 nights depending on the extent of the procedure.

Sequences and Outcome of the cruroplasty

• Post-operative instructions : Wearing a thigh compression garment (lipopanthy) for 4 to 6 weeks. Injection of anticoagulants such as Lovenox for 15 days.
• Removing the wires: No threads to remove as all threads are absorbable
• Rest : 2 to 3 weeks
• Resumption of physical activities: Between 4 and 6 weeks
• Resumption of professional activities: after a minimum of 7 days of convalescence
• Timeframe for final result: between 3 and 6 months most often, but sometimes up to 1 year after the procedure

• You will receive a quote at the first consultation.
• The price includes hospitalization, operating room, anesthesia, surgeon, and surgical assistant fees.
• Coverage by social security may be possible if there is significant weight loss after bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric banding).
